Content

This course teaches the skills needed to program and analyze research paradigms used in the study of behavioral regulation and regulation failure. Specifically, you will learn how to use R to tidy up data sets, transform them, visualize them for exploratory data analysis and for communication purposes, and to perform statistical tests. Furthermore, students can optionally learn how to evaluate data from empirical literature within the open science framework.
The primary goal of this course is to train students in their understanding and use (i.e., data processing, visualization and analysis) of research methods in the field of behavioral regulation. The course places special emphasis on research paradigms that are frequently employed by Utrecht University researchers and open science.
