Research Project in Social Neuroscience

Course goals

In this course, a small-scale empirical study is performed under supervision of staff members.

Relation between assessment and objective
Students write a bachelor’s thesis which tests research skills, knowledge and the use of statistics and methods employed in the field of social neuroscience.

Content

The research project in Social Neuroscience requires students to apply their skills and knowledge that they obtained in the Minor programme in Social Neuroscience, but also to relate their skills and knowledge to their own specific field of science (e.g., Psychology, Economy or Medicine). Apart from general research skills and knowledge, students will also learn to use statistics and methodology to examine their research questions.

Note: This course is the third out of three courses in all to make up the minor Social Neuroscience.
