Pre-Master Mentoring Program Interdisciplinary Social Sciences

Course goals

Students pro-actively take responsibility to getting the maximum benefit from their studies by closely collaborating together with fellow students and teaching staff; by developing themselves personally and professionally; by addressing challenges in a critical but professional manner and by making use of the various coaching and social activities that the Mentoring Program offers . 

Content

All students participating in the ISS Pre-Masters Programs will automatically enroll in the Pre-Master Mentoring Program, including at least the following services and activities:

- Bonding with fellow students and becoming part of UU's academic community through an introductory meeting; social and educational activities as organized by students & regular group meetings or coffee corners in which students can exchange their ideas, suggestions and experiences with the teaching staff.

-During office hours, through confidential (private) conversations and through e-mail students can at any time share their study-related, course-related or personal challenges in a confidential setting with their tutor (Margreet Moesker), who may refer them to for example the study advisor or student psychologist if needed.
