Internship Clinical Skills Lab Clinical Psychology

After completing the internship at the CSL-CP, students will have:

• Developed competences in the areas of (i) psychological assessment, (ii) psychological interventions, (iii) communication, (iv) connecting science and practice, and (v) professionalism;
• Demonstrated the ability to integrate previously learned theory, methodologies, and empirical knowledge into their clinical work;
• Developed a professional and academic attitude to their work;
• Learned to reflect on their own personal, academic, and ethical experiences;
• Closely collaborated with fellow CSL-CP members and exchanged knowledge and skills for the sake of everybody’s learning goals;
• Learned to report on work activities and their own personal, academic, and professional development in a concise and professional manner;
• Familiarised themselves with the job market of the future.

In the CLINICAL SKILLS LAB CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY (CSL-CP) students can develop competences that are central to the profession of clinical psychologist.
Specifically, students will engage in different activities to develop competencies in the following domains:

The activities include self-study using online resources, role-play with fellow-students, people from you own environment, and actors, writing diagnostic reports, intake reports, and treatment plans, performing brief psychological interventions, and attending group intervision meetings.
The CSL-CP is not a true clinical setting and, therefore, contact with real patients will be limited. However, different tools and methods will be used to develop and train skills and competences.
