Course goals
After completion of the course, the student should know (on level of master-start):1. the four approaches to behaviour as defined by Tinbergen
2. theory on animal cognition
3. critically review and discuss a book on animal cognition
Content
The repair course "Theory of Animal Behaviour” provides the student with a broad and in-depth knowledge of approaches and concepts in Animal Behaviour.
Registration:

Mandatory for students in Master’s programme: Yes, when insufficient background.
Optional for students in other Master’s programmes GS-LS: No
