ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE PLACED ON THE WAITING LIST UNTIL TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE START OF THE COURSE

POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS:
Please be aware that you can only select a course option that shows the academic year and is offered Face-to-Face (F2F)  or online (depending on your registration)

(FYI: the other options are options for Continuing Education (onderwijs voor professionals))


After completing the course the student:
  1. knows the epidemiological designs that are often used in environmental and occupational epidemiology and less in other applications of (clinical) epidemiology;
  2. is acquainted with new designs for environmental exposure assessment;
  3. knows the impact of measurement error in exposure on effect estimates;
  4. is able to perform specific epidemiological analyses.

Course description:
The objective of the course is to provide the student with insight in the principles and important issues of environmental and occupational epidemiology. There will be a limited number of lectures in this course. Papers have been selected that we expect you to read carefully as they will be used in subsequent computer exercises and discussions. Problems can further be discussed with the instructors, preferably plenary. You are expect to be present at all scheduled plenary sessions

Registration:
Students can register for this course via Osiris Student. More information about the registration procedure can be found here on the Students' site. NOTE Students of the MSc Epidemiology (Post Graduate) that register in time (i.e. at least two weeks before the start of a course) will always be admitted to the course unless it is completely full. Other students will receive information about their application two weeks before the start of the course.
Maximum number of participants is 25 students.

Health and Environment students will automatically be enrolled.
