Course goals

Students learn to reflect on their own aims and expectations, talents, skills and preferences in relation to the BA programme’s intended learning outcomes, as well as professional behaviour, regulations and expectations concerning student progress, and course and career options.

Content

Students receive academic advice and support in the tutor programme. In this integral part of the BA programme, each student is assigned a tutor at the start of the year. The tutor is the student’s go-to instructor for guidance on the BA programme. The Advanced tutoring programme offers plenary information meetings and individual/group meetings. Participation is encouraged but not obligatory. The tutoring programme is less intensive than in the first year, and focuses on guidance in choosing specific courses. The tutor helps tutees to make the best of their studies. Students are encouraged to approach an academic advisor (studieadviseur) directly in case of issues related to personal circumstances
