Sustainable Business Research Methods

Scholars active in the field of Sustainable Business and Innovation ask a wide range of research questions. In this course we focus on social science research methods to answer research questions in the context of Sustainable Business and Innovation. The general aim of this course is threefold. The first aim is to learn how to write a research proposal. The second aim is to learn about different qualitative analyses that are frequently used in the field of Sustainable Business and Innovation. And the third aim is to learn about different quantitative analyses that are frequently used in the field of Sustainable Business and Innovation. Many different analysis techniques as well as software packages are available. As a researcher you need to make an informed decision about the methods to use.
After completion of the course, the student is able to:
•    Write a research proposal
•    Explain and apply different qualitative data collection methods 
•    Explain and apply different quantitative data collection methods 
•    Explain and apply several qualitative analysis techniques
•    Explain and apply several quantitative analysis techniques
