Thesis writing MA Conflict Studies and Human Rights

Course goals

In keeping with the general objectives of this MA programme, you will learn to:

- design and implement a viable research project; 
- present, discuss and answer a clearly defined research question;
- make use of and contribute to existing academic resaerch and debates on the topic;
- present and apply a clear analytical framework and to experience the dialogue between ideas (theories) and evidence (data);
- use data generated during field work (optional).

Together this will enable you to produce an academic thesis in which you communicate your findings to a specialist audience, demonstrating self-direction and originality at a professional academic level.
