Course goals

You apply all components of your research training by writing a thesis in the first semester of the second year. By managing your thesis project, you demonstrate that you are able to independently contribute to a scholarly debate in your chosen field of historical research.

Content

Career orientation:
Planning and carrying out an extensive research project, and writing research results in a coherent manner that is accessible to both specialist and non-specialist audiences.

After completion of the thesis, you are well prepared to take your first steps into professional research through a research internship.
