Student outpatient clinic in in Family Medicine and Co-zorg

Objectives and content
An introduction to the clinical practice in an out-patient setting, as well as insight in the patient perspective. Students learn to develop and use patient examination skills, psycho-social communication skills, The gradual development of these skills allows the autonomy of the student to increase with each outpatient clinic.

Work formats and weekly schedule
In SUMMA year 1 eight times 4 hours, among which 4 times in a general practitioner practice, three times in the clinic  
The order in which the student participates on both wards varies. The schedule will be announced in advance.

Assessment
Assessment of professional behavior take place per ward. Clinical skills will be assessed in the GP setting. The final assessment is a concluding assessment of the practical functioning of the student
