Medical Clerkship Ophthalmology
Objectives and Content

The Medical Clerkship Ophthalmology builds upon the material of year 1 and 2.
The goals  of this clerkship are:

• Estimation of acute ophthalmic pathology
• Get insight into the basic ophthalmological examination
• Differential diagnostic thinking of the most common pathology
• To have knowledge of and to attend the most common procedures

Place within the curriculum
The ophthalmology clerkship takes place in year 3.

To be used as a guide:  Klinische oogheelkunde /  1st ed. (Kanski, J.J.), in ‘studielandschap’.
