Course goals
- gain an elementary knowledge of different concepts and theories in film studies;
- obtain an understanding of the cultural, industrial, and technological changes in film history;
- develop basic skills in film analysis;
- learn how to interpret historical and contemporary sources;
- build a basic knowledge of cinema, identity, and the politics of representation.
- systematic and critical study of texts;
- gathering, processing and analyzing data and reporting research results in accordance with scholarly methods;
- planning work and working together in teams;
- learning to think with an appreciation for societal context; to situate information in a broader cultural/social context.

- are an exchange student and meet the course’s entry requirements
In all other situations, you will be placed on a waiting list if you enrol in this course. For any remaining slots in the course, lots are drawn among the students on the waiting list.
A Maximum of 8 exchange students will be admitted to this course.
