Elementary Grammar Test

All first-year students in the BA programmes on modern languages (within the Department of Languages, Literature and Communication) and Linguistics need to take the grammar test. It tests students’ knowledge of elementary grammatical concepts and proficiency in applying this knowledge in sentence analysis.
First-year students of the BA Celtic Languages and Culture and the BA Linguistics may take the grammar test of their choice in Dutch or English (course code TL1V19001)
First-year students of the BA English Language and Culture (from cohort 2019) are required to take the English grammar test (course code TL1V19002).
