Political Philosophy

Course goals

After this course, you will

• have basic knowledge and understanding of some of the main theories in the history of 'Western' political philosophy
• be able to reconstruct, analyse, compare and criticize core arguments of these theories
• be able to critically evaluate these core arguments/theories in light of contemporary challenges
• be able to contribute to political argument by drawing upon them
• have further developed interdisciplinary skills (perspective taking)
• have further developed communication and collaboration skills (professional skills)
