Content
The students should demonstrate their ability to set up and report about scientific research in an interdisciplinary context, in which an answer to a self-determined question of scientific interest is formulated and the validity and reliability of the answer is found and defended.
The PPE Research project is the concluding third-year course that synthesizes the knowledge and skills acquired during the PPE bachelor program. The end product is an individual interdisciplinary research paper involving at least two PPE-related disciplines.
The final product is subject to the following requirements:
- it integrates two disciplinary fields (in use of theory, methods etc), one being the major discipline in the project and the other the minor discipline (the balance between the two is roughly 60%-40%).
- the research method applied in the research project can be quantitative, qualitative and/or philosophical.
- the specific assessment criteria for the final product is announced in the course syllabus.
Additional information
Please note: the thesis grade is calculated based on the final version with a presentation component (100%)
