Internship Literature Today

Course goals

Preparation for work in the field of literature. The student learns to apply the academic knowledge acquired in the course of the MA-program Literature Today to the work done in the internship-organization. 

Content

The internship offers the student the opportunity to participate in real-life work processes in the field(s) relevant to the MA-program Literature Today. The internship is completed in national and international organizations active in the field of (production, dissemination, evaluation, teaching of) literature and culture. A substantial research component is part of a MA-internship, of which the findings are presented in the internship-report. The daily tasks and overall timeline of the internship are agreed upon at the beginning of the internship (between student, internship-organization and supervisors). 

Note: if the internship qualifies as language-specific, the report needs to be written in the respective language.

Course registration
The HUM Internship Office will register you for the Internship course. Before they can do that, you need to take a number of steps yourself. You can find these steps on the internship page of your programme. The fixed registration periods for regular courses do not apply to internships. On the internship page you can find when you should have registered.
