Research Skills Seminar

Course goals

The aim of the research skills seminar is to teach students advanced academic writing & presentation skills and other skills they need to prepare for their individual research projects in year 2 and future career. 

Content

The research skills seminar teaches students academic skills such as abstract writing, presentation at conferences, publication strategies and grant acquisition in connection to their individual research during the remainder of the second year and their future career. Students accomplish a number of assignments which culminate in a research plan that prepares for the internship/master apprenticeship and/or the thesis. This plan is developed in close collaboration with either the internship/apprenticeship supervisor or the thesis supervisor.

This course is only open to students from RMA Linguistics.
